(CHICAGO) — Chicago Police say they have arrested a 15-year-old boy in connection to an attack at the Chicago Red Line stop over the weekend.
He has been charged with one felony count of aggravated battery, two felony counts of mob action and one misdemeanor count of aggravated battery.
Around 7:30 Saturday night, police say dozens of teens at the Chicago Red Line stop attacked two men in their mid to late 20’s and a 29-year-old woman, punching and kicking them then running off.
All three suffered serious cuts and bruises. One man suffered a broken eye socket.
Police say the juvenile offender was taken into custody after he was observed on CTA cameras.
Police say most of the attackers were between the ages of 15 and 19. They are still searching for other suspects.
