A group of scientists, who apparently have never seen the Godzilla movies, just drilled the deepest hole ever made by man.
Researchers in Antarctica spent 63 straight hours boring into the ice with a ‘hot-water drill’ to a record-setting depth of 7,060 feet.
The group is hoping to learn more about the Antarctic ice sheet and how it might be affected by climate change in the future.
