Texas Secretary of State David Whitley released a report Friday claiming to show voting registration by 95,000 non-U.S. citizens. Whitley’s office also claims that 58,000 of those non-U.S. citizens voted in one or more elections in Texas.
Whitley also issued an election advisory on Friday regarding the maintenance of voter registration lists.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton vowed to investigate and prosecute those suspected of voter fraud in response to Whitley’s evaluation.
Voter fraud is a second-degree felony in the state of Texas.
