How does the experience of running a coffee empire qualify you to take charge of a country? That’s an argument that Howard Schultz will be making if he enters the 2020 presidential race.
Speaking in an interview with 60 Minutes that aired on Sunday, the former Starbucks CEO reveals that if he does so, he’d register as a “centrist independent”.
Claiming, “We’re living at a most fragile time,” Schultz says he’s dissatisfied with the state and tone of politics in the United States.
Schultz isn’t worried about hurting Democrats in their bid to retake the White House, adding, “I want to see the American people win. I want to see America win.”
