A manhunt is underway in Texas after a prisoner being transported escaped during a fast food stop.
Cedric Joseph Marks, who’s at the center of two murder investigations, was being transferred to a Texas jail after U.S. Marshals in Michigan arrested him on a burglary warrant. He someone managed to give guards the slip when the prisoner transport he was in made a stop at a McDonald’s in Conroe, officials say.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents that Marks, who’s a professional MMA fighter, is “extremely dangerous.” Deputies are urging people to stay indoors until Marks is recaptured.
