Patrons at a New Jersey McDonald’s were definitely not lovin’ it after a man and a young child entered the establishment with a large white rat and let the rodent loose inside the restaurant.
A video of the February 5th incident at a Newark location, of course, went viral, racking up over 241,000 views on Facebook.
In the 40-second clip, the boy shouts “Let me hold it, let me hold it!” before the pair release the rat from a plastic container onto the floor. Diners understandably went nuts, scrambling for the exit.
The suspect also made a break for it, leaving police on the lookout. Meanwhile, a MickeyD’s spokesperson said the rat left via the front door.
