On Monday Sen. Amy Klobuchar was questioned at a CNN town hall about former staffers calling her “difficult, demanding and even abusive” at times.
Previously as an attorney and now as a Senator, she has managed large staffs in her career and admits she can be a “tough boss”.
“Am I a tough boss sometimes? Yes. Do I ask too much of my staff sometimes? Yes.” Klobuchar went on to say she has high expectations for the country saying, “I ask my staff to meet those same expectations.”
Kali Cruz worked for Klobuchar in her first term as Senator and said she “cared deeply for me as her staffer”.
