(CHICAGO) In embattled Ald Ed Burke’s campaign for re-election, there’s a new charge against we can call Burke’s Wall.
Congressman Chuy Garcia claims a wall behind Burke’s home was paid for with city money.
“I think it is a terrible example of someone who is disconnected from the needs and interests of the ward. To build a wall for yourself to insulate yourself in your compound, surrounded by a working-class community of mostly immigrants and then to be Donald Trump’s property tax appeals lawyer, I think it’s time for a change.”
And Garcia’s been trying his best to elect Tanya Patino to replace Burke.
By the way no response from Burke on who paid for his wall.
