* A University of California professor has been reprimanded for sharing his hatred toward police officers, in one case saying cops “need to be killed.”
* Professor Joshua Glover, who teaches critical and political theory, has posted a number of anti-law enforcement tweets that call for the death of police officers. One reads, “I am thankful that every living cop will one day be dead, some by their own hand, some by others, too many of old age.”
* Addressing the issue in a statement, UC officials say Clover’s statements do “not reflect our institutional values, and we find it unconscionable that anyone would condone much less appear to advocate murder.” They did not disclose details of Clover’s punishment.
