* San Francisco Giants CEO Larry Baer announced Monday that he is taking a leave of absence after video of an altercation with his wife surfaced last week.
* In the video, Baer appears to be grabbing a phone out of his wife’s hand, knocking over her chair and sending her spilling to the ground. Baer apologized for the incident on Friday while Pam said they were “embarrassed” by the “public argument”.
* On Monday, the Giants announced that Baer was stepping aside, saying he “acknowledged that his behavior was unacceptable” and will take steps to “make sure that this never happens again”.
* Baer has been with the Giants since the 1990’s and took over as CEO in 2012.
