Forbes has just released its 2019 billionaire list. So who are the richest of the rich?
No. 1 is Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezo’s. 2019 is Bezo’s second year as king-of-the-hill among billionaires. His wealth is up $19B to $131B.
Bill Gates, the Microsoft founder would have been number one if not for a $35.8B donation to his foundation. Instead his $96.5B wealth is only enough for number 2 on Forbes’ list.
And coming in at No. 3 with $82.5B is Omaha, Nebraska investor Warren Buffett. His net worth dropped by $1.5B last year.
