Robert Kraft has received a notice to appear in court. However, his attorney says the New England Patriots owner will not be there.
The 77-year-old Kraft faces two counts of misdemeanor solicitation of prostitution. Jupiter, Florida, authorities say they have video evidence to support the charges.
USA Today reports Kraft Attorney Jack Goldberger calls language in the appearance notice “boilerplate” and says that in misdemeanor cases attorneys are allowed to make appearances on a defendant’s behalf.
