A fleet of 2,000 vehicles, including a number of $294,000 Porsches, is available for anyone who wants to come by to grab one. But it’s going to require scuba gear and some sort of underwater crane.
The vehicles were deposited on the floor of the Atlantic Ocean last week when a cargo ship caught fire and sunk. Although the ship’s 27 passengers escaped unharmed, the vehicles weren’t so lucky.
Making the loss even more tragic is the fact that Porsche recently discontinued production of the 911 GT2 RS, which was the model of the cars that met the watery fate.
