A demonstration of riding skills proved to be fatal for a Florida motorcyclist, who was killed when he popped a wheelie on a public road.

With his front wheel raised several feet above the ground, his headline was pointed skyward — making Valdez nearly invisible to the driver of a Chevy Cobalt, who was headed in the opposite direction. The driver made a left turn right in front of Valdez, who crashed into the vehicle. He was thrown from his bike and landed on the car, dying from his injuries after being transported to a nearby hospital. The driver suffered minor injuries and is expected to recover.
Police say no charges are expected to be filed.
