Delaware-based brewery Dogfish Head has collaborated with Kodak for their latest creation called SuperEIGHT.
It is a “sour German-style wheat beer” and is being called a “super gose” for being made from eight “heroic” ingredients including “boysenberry, blackberry, elderberry, mango, prickly pear, kiwi juices, a small amount of quinoa, and some Hawaiian sea salt”.
Not only can it be sipped and enjoyed, the acid and vitamin C in the beer can also aid in developing your Kodak Super 8 film.
“Early batches of the beer were sent to Kodak to begin development,” said a Dogfish Head blog post. “After a series of tests were done, they successfully proved that SuperEIGHT can in fact act as a film developer.”
