Catholic Priests in Poland have decided that Hello Kitty, Harry Potter and vampires that twinkle in the sun are a threat to their religion and hosted a book burning outside of their church this past Sunday.
The Catholic group SMS from Heaven, posted pics of the burning on Facebook, with a caption saying that items like Twilight and Harry Potter books, a Hello Kitty umbrella and more were brought to the burning to burn false idols.
The pics also revealed that the church burned an African mask and a Hindu religious figurine. Facebook users reminded the church that their book burning seemed similar to Nazi Germany’s cultural censorship.
