A group of nurses have come to the rescue of an Illinois father who found himself in handcuffs after rushing his daughter to the hospital.
Darius Hinkle doesn’t have a license and was speeding as his daughter was choking on a penny. By the time he arrived at Touchette Regional Hospital in Centreville, several law enforcement officers were in pursuit.
Hinkle was arrested at the hospital. However, when the 1-year-old’s mother arrived at the jail she learned that the nurses had chipped in money to bail him out.
