The Dalai Lama has been released from a New Delhi hospital after suffering a chest infection earlier this week.
The 83-year-old spiritual leader described himself as “almost normal” when he spoke to reporters Friday morning. He had been admitted to the hospital on Tuesday after experiencing ‘discomfort’.
The former Nobel Peace Prize winner is expected to return to his headquarters in the north Indian town of Dharmsala.
