
A rash of deadly storms and tornadoes rampaged through parts of the Southern and Eastern U.S. over the weekend, causing at least nine deaths and dozens of injuries.
The storms ranged from southern states like Mississipi, Texas, and Lousisana, to northeastern regions of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Weather issues cancelled more than 2,000 flights and knocked out power for hundreds of thousands of people
The town of Franklin, TX suffered the worst of it, with an EF-3 tornado leveling more than 50 homes and businesses with 140 mph winds.
