Sen. Bernie Sanders, the current leader for the Democratic nomination for president, is not too happy with the Center for American Progress.

The nonprofit group was started 16 years ago by John Podesta and is backed by George Soros.

“This counterproductive negative campaigning needs to stop,” Sanders wrote in a letter. “The Democratic primary must be a campaign of ideas, not of bad-faith smears.”

Bernie was upset with the website ThinkProgress for posting, “It’s all very off-brand and embarrassing, but Sen. Bernie Sanders is a millionaire. Turns out railing against ‘millionaires and billionaires’ can be quite the lucrative enterprise.”
