ISIS Claims Responsibility For Sri Lanka Bombings

ISIS is claiming responsibility for the deadly Easter Sunday bomb attacks that killed more than 300 people in Sri Lanka.

The terrorist group claimed Sunday’s attackers were “among the fighters of the Islamic State”, although investigators aren’t certain if the attackers had actual ties to the organization.

Sri Lanka’s Prime Minister says the attack “could not have been done just locally” and said the bombings showed ‘training’ and ‘coordination’.

The death toll from Sunday’s attacks is up to 310 with 500 more injured.
