The U.S. economy made strong gains in the first quarter of 2019, according to the latest data from the Commerce Department.
GDP grew 3.3 percent in the first three months of the year, exceeding projections and marking the biggest Q1 growth since 2015.
However, consumer spending and vehicle sales both dropped last quarter, and some are projecting Q2 growth to slow to about two percent.
