Feeling a bit under the weather? Got a climbing fever? Itchy? Skin turning red? Did you fly through LAX recently? You might want to get to the doctor.
According to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, two individuals carrying the disease from overseas passed through the airport’s Terminal 2 on the evening of April 30 and morning of May 1, potentially exposing passengers to measles.
Also at risk, anyone who rode the employee shuttle last Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning.
Those experiencing symptoms need to seek out their health provider, officials say. If there are no symptoms after 21 days, you’re in the clear.
