With summer on the horizon, 84 degree days can be quite inviting, but when it hits that temp in the Arctic Ocean, there’s a problem.

It happened this past weekend in a northern Russian town on the edge of the Arctic circle, and scientists say it’s yet another alarm bell when it comes to global warming.

Research continues to show us that sea ice is at a record low, hurricanes are getting stronger and the hottest years ever recorded have all occurred in the past 19 years.
