Alderman Arrested, Charged With Fraud

(CHICAGO) — Ald. Proco Joe Moreno (1st) has been charged with insurance fraud and obstruction of justice, both felony charges. A release from the Chicago Police Department says he was taken into custody Tuesday. Officials say this is in relation to a police report he filed back in January in which the alderman claimed his vehicle had been stolen. The alderman will appear in bond court Wednesday.
