(CHICAGO) — The mother and daughter accused of killing a pregnant woman appeared in court Friday where they were ordered held with out bond.

Graphic details came out in court about how Clarisa and Desiree Figueroa allegedly strangled to death Marlen Ochoa-Lopez and then cut her unborn baby out of the womb. Prosecutors say a coaxial cable was placed around the victims neck while she was distracted.

“The victim attempted to stop defendant Clarisa and was able to place her fingers between her neck and the cable. At that point, defendant Clarisa told defendant Desiree, quote, you aren’t doing your fuc**ng job, end quote. Defendant Desiree then stepped up and began to peel the victims fingers from the cable one by one.”

Prosecutors went on to explain how the body was disposed of and how Clarisa showed no signs physically that she had just given birth.

The body of Ochoa-Lopez was later found in a black plastic bag in a garbage can.

Also in court was Clarisa Figueroa’s boyfriend who was also ordered held without bond after being charged with concealing a homicidal death. Prosecutors contend he helped clean up the blood stains at the home where the 19-year-old was killed.
