Billionaire financier Jeffrey Epstein is behind bars on child sex trafficking charges, and his lawyers are hoping to get him released with a bail package worth a whopping $77 million.

According to court documents, Epstein’s attorneys have proposed mortgaging his private plane and Manhattan mansion to post bond. But prosecutors consider Epstein an “extraordinary” flight risk.

New charges against Epstein were filed in New York earlier this month. A hearing will be held on Monday to determine whether Epstein will be granted bail.
