It turns out that Mitt Romney has a second, secret Twitter account, which he would use to defend himself from critics.

The Utah senator fessed up to The Atlantic of its existence, but wouldn’t reveal the user name, only noting the number of followers.

Slate ‘s Ashley Feinberg didn’t have much trouble uncovering the profile photo-less handle, especially with Pierre Delecto following members of Romney’s family, fellow lawmakers, and former advisers from his 2012 White House bid.

When confronted with the evidence on Sunday, Romney admitted, “C’est moi”. The account is now private.
