AOC apologizes, settles, Twitter blocking lawsuit

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez has settled a lawsuit brought after she blocked the founder of Americans Against Antisemitism on Twitter.

Dov Hikind says he was blocked after criticizing the New York Democrats’ comparison of US border migrant facilities to Nazi concetration camps.

The New York Post reports the congresswoman issued an apology as part of the settlement saying, “Mr. Hikind has a First Amendment right to express his views and should not be blocked for them,” adding it “was wrong and improper and does not reflect the values I cherish,” but that in the future “I reserve the right to block users who engage in actual harassment or exploit my personal/campaign account, @AOC, for commercial or other improper purposes.”

Hikind calls it a win saying “She never apologizes… So this is rather remarkable that she sincerely apologizes…”
