Fire officials are reporting that the 10,000 acre Maria Fire burning in Ventura County, California is now 90% contained.

They expect full containment by Thursday, it’s a fire that destroyed two homes in Somis as well as two other structures and some orchard crops.

The Ventura County Fire Department says an additional 500 acres were added to the total size of the fire after more accurate mapping was done.
