A Louisiana man has been arrested after he reportedly held a gun to his 9-year-old son’s head — because he drank the last can of Dr. Pepper.
West Monroe resident Chad Lee Kinnaird on Monday was charged with domestic abuse – battery endangerment and violation of protective custody in connection with the incident, which occurred after Kinnaird discovered his son had consumed the last can of soda from the refrigerator, according to his arrest affidavit. The angry dad then pushed the barrel of a loaded handgun against his son’s head, per the document.
Kinnaird, who police say had been drinking at the time of the incident, is being held on a $125,000 bond.
