Part of Our Immune System Could Treat All Cancers

A research team out of Cardiff University has discovered a new type of T-cell in our immune systems that could possibly treat all types of cancers.

This T-cell and its receptors can detect and kill a wide range of cancer cells in the body, including lung, skin, blood, breast, bone and multiple other forms of cancer while leaving healthy tissues alone.

While researchers are excited at the discovery, this method of killing cancer has only been tested in labs so far.
