Chick-fil-A Customer Says Manager Asked Her to ‘Cover Up’ While Breastfeeding

A mother in Georgia was at a Chick-fil-A breatfeeding her seven-month old daughter when she was asked to cover up.

The thing is, she was covered up.

The manager approached the mom and handed her a jacket.

The mother was upset, stopped breastfeeding and left.

She wrote about the incident on Facebook and it went viral.

A group of mom’s saw the post and staged a nurse-in at the restaurant.

The group told reporters that it is legal to breastfeed in Georgia anywhere a mother is allowed to bring a child.

The manager of the store has reached out to personally apologize to the mother.
