Prepare to see more Russian troll postings in your social media feed as we move closer to Election Day in November.

According to the FBI Director, a campaign of “information warfare” is still ongoing, which seeks to divide American public opinion.

Speaking to the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, Chris Wray said it’s a much more difficult task to combat since the federal agency isn’t “in the business of being the truth police and monitoring disinformation online.”

Fortunately, Wray reveals that they haven’t seen any efforts to hack election system infrastructure like what happened in 2016.
