A Mississippi state official and the son of pro wrestling legend Ted ‘Million Dollar Man’ DiBiase were among six people arrested for a ‘massive’ multi-million dollar embezzlement scheme.
The group are accused of siphoning millions in public money meant for needy families and spending on themselves. It’s one of the largest embezzlement schemes Mississippi has ever seen, with the suspects facing hundreds of years behind bars if convicted on all counts.
Among those arrested are John Davis, Mississippi’s former Department of Human Services chief, and 31-year-old former pro wrestler Brett DiBiase, who allegedly used the money to stay at a ‘luxury rehab center’ in Malibu.
DiBiase’s father, Ted DiBiase, was a huge wrestling star in the 80’s under the gimmick “The Million Dollar Man” and is now a minister in Florida.
