The coronavirus outbreak has topped more than 65,000 confirmed cases worldwide, with the death toll approaching 1,400.
More than 20,000 new cases have been confirmed in China in the last two days. Even more problematic, the virus has infected more than 1,700 Chinese medics working to stop the disease.
Only three of the 1,383 deaths reported so far have taken place outside of mainland China. Earlier this week, a 15th case was confirmed in the U.S., in a patient who was flown from China to a military base in San Antonio, TX.
