If you ask Elizabeth Warren, those running for President need to be mindful not only of their own actions but also of how their supporters behave.
The Massachusetts senator took aim at Bernie Sanders on Monday, saying he “has a lot of questions to answer” after those standing behind him attacked a culinary union online for criticizing the Democrat frontrunner’s “Medicare for All” health care plan.
According to Warren, “That is not how we build an inclusive Democratic Party. … We do not build on a foundation of hate.”
Sanders distanced himself from the attackers, telling PBS last week, “Anybody making personal attacks against anybody else in my name is not part of my movement.”
