A firefighter’s job isn’t always putting out burning buildings and rescuing cats stuck up trees. Sometimes there are more unusual calls.

Like what first responders in the Austrian town of Lustenau were faced with last month: preventing a 420-gallon bottle of wine from exploding inside a restaurant.

According to The Drinks Business , the Guinness World Record holding vessel at Engel Wang Fu sprung a leak, leading to fears of a flood if it were to burst.

The firefighters built up a sandbag barrier, then drilled into the cork, removing about 60 gallons. The remaining wine will be sold by the glass, says German news site Die Presse .
