Bernie Sanders Unveils Free Child Care, Pre-K Plans

Fresh off Saturday’s victory at the Nevada caucuses, Bernie Sanders unveiled his plans for universal child care if elected President.

The frontrunner for the Democrat party nomination sat down with Anderson Cooper in a 60 Minutes interview airing Sunday, detailing the proposal that would offer free child care from infancy to pre-kindergarten.

As for how the program would receive funding, Sanders says increasing taxes on wealthy earners would cover the costs.

While Sanders couldn’t put a price tag on his progressive plans, he feels confident the money would be there.
