Apple Donates 9M Face Masks To US Health Facilities

With healthcare workers on the front lines of the coronavirus outbreak reporting the need for face masks, several of the tech giants have stepped up to help.

On Tuesday, Vice President Mike Pence announced that Apple will donate 9 million N95 protective masks, “to healthcare facilities all across the country and to the national stockpile.”

Taking to Twitter over last weekend, CEO Tim Cook revealed that the company has been “working to help source supplies for healthcare providers fighting COVID-19,” adding, “To every one of the heroes on the front lines, we thank you.”

Meanwhile, Facebook and Tesla also said they will send their stocks and help to find more.
