A 108-year-old UK woman who once survived the 1918 Spanish flu outbreak has died from coronavirus.

Hilda Churchill was born in 1911 and was seven years old during the Spanish flu outbreak, which killed her one-year-old sister and infected more than 500 million worldwide.

Churchill died Saturday at a nursing home shortly after testing positive for COVID-19. She’s believed to be the UK’s oldest victim of the virus.
