With New York City’s dining scene shut down due to the coronavirus outbreak, chefs from some of the Big Apple’s best restaurants have found new side hustles.
According to the New York Post , the billionaire class has scooped them up as personal cooks.
Ian Tenzer, the former sous chef at the three-star Michelin rated Eleven Madison Park, admitted he missed the kitchen after six weeks out of work and took the gig since, “It’s a good choice economically and professionally.”
The Post notes that going this route could add a 20 percent to 30 percent pay bump along with better hours, plus bonuses.
