Joe Biden once again addressed the sexual assault allegations made by a former staffer – this time telling Americans not to vote for him if they believe the allegations.
During an MSNBC interview Thursday, the former vice president said “If they believe Tara Reade, they probably shouldn’t vote for me. I wouldn’t vote for me if I believed Tara Reade”.
Biden has denied the claims, insisting the alleged 1993 incident “never, never happened” in a previous interview. But Biden says that Reade’s claims “should be taken seriously” and “thoroughly vetted”.
