The White House is preparing an executive order aimed at social media companies, after President Trump accused Twitter and other platforms of censoring conservatives.

The order will call for a review of a 1996 law called Section 230 that protects internet companies from being liable for content posted by their users. It will also review accusations of “unfair or deceptive practices” by major platforms like Twitter and Facebook.

The order was drafted shortly after Twitter added a fact-check link to a Trump tweet about mail-in voting. It’s expected to be signed on Thursday.
