NBC News reporter Jo Ling Kent was hit by a flash-bang grenade while covering protests in Seattle on Monday night.
Kent was delivering an on-air report when the grenade went off, striking her left arm. She later tweeted “Thanfully, our whole team is ok and safe. I’m totally fine – my jacket sleeve got singed and that’s it.”
NBC believes the grenade was fired by police. The network says its reporters covering the protests accompanied by security details.
