Ed Mullins, a police union boss, told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham Tuesday the NYPD “is losing the city of New York. We have no leadership in the city of New York right now, from City Hall to the brass of the NYPD.”

The New York Sargeants Benevolent Association President said that cops “are being pelted with rock and bricks, cars are set on fire” and added that protesters aren’t following curfew.

During the TV interview, Mullins begged the president to “please, please immediately send federal personnel to New York City and monitor what is going on.” He said the NYPD could handle the unrest if local officials would allow them.
