What’s new is allowing anonymous complaints against cops, no more disciplinary records being destroyed and interviewing complainers before cops learn who they are.  Mayor Lightfoot calls it a template for upcoming negotiations with the FOP. In the public bargaining, FOP wants to let cops live outside of the city and the right to strike.
