The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to hear a case challenging the construction of a border wall along the Mexican border.
Several environmental groups had sued over the construction, claiming the Department of Homeland Security didn’t have the legal right to fast-track construction by waiving environmental requirements.
The groups say the border wall will interfere with animal migration patterns and threatens local plant species, including cacti.
