A 9-year-old girl in Oakland Township, Michigan is getting praise across the country for sewing more than 500 face masks and donating all of them.
Michaela Munyan learned how to sew at an after-school program before the pandemic started.
When coronavirus hit, she knew she wanted to step up and do something.
Her message is simple: “I get to help other people.”
Michaela makes masks for adults and kids — and isn’t done yet.
She says she hopes her hard work can inspire other people to do random acts of kindness.
