Teamwork between a citizen and Atlanta police helped nab a homicide suspect June 30.

Officers were were chasing 21-year-old Nicholas Fonseca – wanted in a fatal shooting two days earlier. The officers were on foot while Fonseca was on a bike. That was until an officer spotted another cyclist peddling towards him. “Let me borrow your bike, man,” he can be heard on his body cam. The cyclist grabs his bag from his bike and can be heard saying, “OK.”

The officer eventually catches up to the suspect, finding him apprehended by another officer three minutes down the road.
